Child & Youth Mortality Review Committee Local Groups
A key part of the work of the Child and Youth Mortality Review Committee are the multi-agency, local groups of Agents that meet in DHB regions to review local deaths (0-24 years). The purpose is to analyse the causes of death leading to evidence-based recommendations for actions. Māori SIDS team members are currently or have recently held positions on a number of local groups bringing SIDS / SUDI expertise.
